# n95 — the Book One / Book Two fork: dissolved, not chosen (2026-07-10)

The program's old fork:
  BOOK ONE (quantum channel): gravity mediates entanglement (BMV+).
  BOOK TWO (classical channel): gravity MONITORS ENERGY, forcing
  decoherence rather than entanglement (BMV null, DP floor).

Status in the final theory: NEITHER survives as stated; the fork was
a false binary because it never asked WHAT the monitor reads.

- Book Two died in its premise. The audited vacuum never monitors
  energy or states — only violations of its own conservation law (the
  founding axiom). The synthesis attempt that would have kept Book
  Two's monitor (the T^TT-reading bath) was found internally
  inconsistent within a day (drainage-ii attack record): a
  state-reading sector produces a rest floor and a BMV null, in direct
  conflict with what the violation-only axiom delivers. Its
  phenomenology (the DP floor) is now standing prediction 3: it will
  never be observed.
- Book One survives in phenomenology, not mechanism: BMV+ is standing
  prediction 4 — the induced interaction is coherent, hence
  entangling — but not because gravity "escapes" measurement; because
  the measurement is blind to states that keep their books.
- THE DISSOLUTION: the final theory runs Book Two's ENGINE (gravity is
  generated by a monitoring process — the active monitor's
  back-action) through Book One's CHANNEL (quantum, entangling). The
  missing question was "what does the monitor read?": energy ->
  decoherence, floor, Book Two; the ledger's violations -> dark
  states, protected superpositions, mediated entanglement — AND a
  decoherence that still exists but is MOTION-GATED: the knee, the
  signature neither book predicted.
- The binary became a measured three-way fork: quantized GR (nothing
  at any frequency) / Book-Two-class collapse (a rest floor) / the
  audited vacuum (zero at rest, the knee, BMV+, more-than-DP above
  the knee).

One sentence: Book Two was right about gravity's origin (a
measurement) and wrong about its object (energy); Book One was right
about the channel (quantum) and had no mechanism; the surviving
theory is one's engine driving the other's channel — and the knee is
the weld's scar.
