# n80 — the assault on n79's predictions (2026-07-09, same day)

## N3 — KILLED: HEADSTONE 27
Two blades, either fatal:
(a) Category error: A-EM says matter is staggered-fermion-LIKE, but
the framework's matter is bosonic consumption patterns — no fermion
field has ever been constructed on this substrate. Transplanting the
Kogut-Susskind taste count onto a fermionless framework was borrowed
authority, not derivation.
(b) Even granting fermions: taste multiplicity gives NEARLY DEGENERATE
species (taste symmetry). Four degenerate light families are flatly
excluded by observation (m_top/m_up ~ 10^5); with large taste-breaking
the power-of-two counting evaporates and predicts nothing. As stated,
N3 was either already excluded or empty. BURIED, one day old. The
sterile-neutrino stake is withdrawn.

## N1 — AMENDED twice
(a) Scope: "the hierarchy" is two problems — the rate ratio (which Q
addresses) and the matter-mass scale (why lambda x consumption is
tiny for protons), which Q does not touch. N1 covers HALF the
hierarchy; the file and any future use must say "the rate hierarchy".
(b) Premise weakened: "Q is forced huge" leaned on the n62 COW floor —
which was DRAINAGE-specific (the E0 contamination). The active medium
deflects COW natively (n76), so that floor evaporates for the new
medium; only the coupling-conditional pulsar-friction floor remains.
The n64 parameter card was drainage-era and PARTIALLY DISSOLVES for
the surviving framework: flagged for re-derivation. N1 survives as a
structural identity plus a falsifiable tie, with honest scope.

## N2 — DEMOTED, and the demotion exposes the real target
The units bridge assumed "one substrate, one matter" — but the
framework's two surviving sectors live in TWO DIFFERENT TOYS (the
info-metric drainage ring for EM; the monitored clock medium for
gravity) that have never been shown to coexist on one substrate. The
unification is narrative, not construction. N2 is conditional on an
unbuilt junction — and naming it exposes the framework's actual next
kill channel, sharper than anything in n79:

## THE EXPOSED TARGET — n81, the one-substrate gate
Build both sectors on ONE lattice and measure the INTERFERENCE:
does the EM sector's charge-audit decohere the gravitational
mediator? Does the gravitational bath's monitoring disturb the charge
Gauss law? Does the drainage's staggered field detune the clock
medium's Delta? Any of these could be fatal — two sectors that cannot
share a vacuum is a framework of two half-theories. Gates to
register before the build: (i) both static forces survive
coexistence within 5% of their solo values; (ii) the knee's no-floor
survives the EM audit running concurrently; (iii) charge
superselection survives the gravity bath. This is now the LAST
constructive experiment standing between the framework and its
unified reading — everything else is formal (the tensor junction)
or external (the sweep).

## N4 — unchanged (flagged, awaiting the pump).

## Balance
One killed same-day (N3, headstone 27 — the fastest burial in the
program's history), one amended twice (N1), one demoted into the
discovery of the true next gate (N2 -> n81), one untouched. The
graveyard's lesson compounds: predictions made from doctrine rather
than measurement die in hours. The one-substrate gate is the honest
inheritance of the day.
