# n49 — pre-registration: two GR-divergent signatures made precise (before code)

## Part A — short-distance dressing of Newton
GR: exact 1/r^2 at all scales. This model: exact Coulomb only in the
infrared; the dressed kernel W(q) runs at lattice scale. REGISTERED
MEASUREMENT: real-space potential V(r) from 1/W(q) (2D L=96, on-axis
r = 1..12), compared to the pure lattice-Coulomb normalized at r >= 8.
- Report the fractional deviation profile delta(r); no pass/fail — this
  is a signature TABLE (the model's falsifiable short-range prediction).
- Consistency gate: delta(r) -> 0 monotonically for r >= 4 (dressing is
  UV, not IR); failure means the IR-Coulomb claim of n46b is inconsistent.

## Part B — the parity exposure: do same-parity masses anti-gravitate?
The toy's matter carries a two-valued charge. Opposite-parity consumers
attract (n46). REGISTERED QUESTION: the sign of the interaction between
SAME-parity consumers (jellium-compensated least-squares drainage, the
n40 G1 treatment of non-neutral configs, information-metric cost).
- Prediction from the Poisson analogy, registered: like staggered
  charges -> V(d) DECREASING (repulsive).
- Gates: slope sign on d = 10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80 (even d, same
  parity); fracRMS vs ring Green reported.
- EITHER outcome is a GR-divergence made precise: repulsion means the
  model predicts antigravitating matter classes (falsified by everyday
  gravity UNLESS parity is unobservable/compensated); attraction would
  contradict the Poisson reading and reopen the parity interpretation.
  No amnesty language: the result is recorded as the model's exposure.

## RESULTS (same day; n49_divergences.py)
- Part A: registered consistency gate FAIL — the deviations OSCILLATE in
  sign with r (parity microstructure, not anticipated by the gate).
  Flagged post-hoc: the even-r and odd-r subsequences each decay
  monotonically (+19.98% -> +2.00%; -10.02% -> -4.43%): the dressing IS
  UV and the IR-Coulomb claim stands; the registered monotonicity gate
  was miscalibrated (calibration lesson #2 of the day). The table itself
  is the deliverable: the model predicts parity-oscillating short-range
  deviations from Newton, decaying roughly as 1/r.
- Part B: REPULSIVE, as registered — slope -2.04e-3, ring-Green fit
  fracRMS 0.000% (machine-exact anti-Coulomb). The model now formally
  and precisely predicts: matter carries a two-valued charge and
  same-class pairs ANTI-GRAVITATE with the same conserved Coulomb form.
  This is falsified by everyday gravity unless the parity degree of
  freedom is physically unobservable (all real matter one class, the
  other class belonging to the vacuum's compensation sector). That
  interpretation is now the mechanism's load-bearing assumption #1.
