# n225 — Gate D leg 2, structural half: the force law survives the glass

**Date:** 2026-07-11 · **The prerequisite question:** does the amorphous substrate still produce Coulomb statics at all? If disorder killed the 1/r form, P3″ was dead regardless of any normalization.

## The honest sequence

1. **First attempt (L = 3 box, full FS cost, the n224 member): INCONCLUSIVE by box size** — every probed separation sat in periodic-image territory; flat and Coulomb are indistinguishable there. Recorded as underpowered, not adverse.
2. **The scaling rescue came from the trunk audit itself** (§2 / regression T1b): the force-law *form* is owned by the constraint operator — any positive cost reproduces it, the cost only sets coefficients. So the form question decouples from the expensive FS-metric assembly, unlocking a 5× larger glass.
3. **The form test (L = 5, N = 1000, η = 0.75, identity cost, ~150 pairs per bin):**

| | seed 1 | seed 2 |
|---|---|---|
| fit E(r) = a + B/r | B = +0.124, residual 6.7% | B = +0.087, residual 2.8% |

**The 1/r form holds on the amorphous substrate.** The constraint's pole — like the photon kernel — is topological enough to survive disorder. The three load-bearing structures of P3″ (the photon kernel, the polarization equality, and now the static force law) are all disorder-robust, each for its own structural reason.

## The two honest flags

- **The coefficient scatters between glass realizations** (~30% at this size). Expected to self-average with volume; if a residual survives, it is the germ of a prediction — *force-law scintillation*: spatial fluctuation of the effective coupling on the disorder scale, bounded by Eöt-Wash-class tests once units exist. Registered as a shape, not a number.
- **Leg 2's full form — Coulomb and Newton *normalizations* picking the family member — remains pending**, and honestly waits where everything absolute waits: on the units/matter bridge. What tonight establishes is that the structure the normalizations would normalize *exists* on the glass.

## The session's closing state

P3″, the amorphous two-ledger vacuum: frozen gate passed 7/7 (n224), polarization equality 0.998, both forces propagating, equal-cone family stable, statics Coulomb-formed (this note), photon kernel topological, GW-birefringence and force-scintillation registered as its first native predictions. Pending: the reviewer (n216–n225 wholesale), Gates A/E/F, the units bridge. Two predecessors dead by their own gates, and their causes of death are the two best-documented results of the program.

**Class: form test [A-model at declared scope]; the scintillation flag [shape, C]; leg-2-full [pending, honestly].**
