# n208 — The reviewer's tightening of the survival verdict, adopted

**Date:** 2026-07-11 · The builder's "is it dead?" answer contained two overstatements of its own; the reviewer's corrections are adopted verbatim:

1. **"Zero wrong equations" was false.** The audit found wrong *numbers and equations*, not only wrong attributions: ζ = 0.4834 (exact: ¼), the n183 boundary sign, the diverging-but-reporting Mercury script, the fail-open U2 gate, the NaN KZ script, the false off-axis TT claim under uniform weights, the Bochner overstatement. Corrected statement, adopted: *many core algebraic identities are correct; several numerical results, gates, and theorem statements were wrong; the dominant failure was interpretive.*
2. **"Regression suite green" conflated the identity suite with repo health.** The suite now says so in its own header and prints the known-defective-script manifest (five entries) on every run. The reproducible achievement is the audit itself and the acceptance of adverse results — not a green checkmark.
3. **The bets re-labeled.** [speculative] = *conjectural wagers*, explicitly not outputs of the constructed mathematics: the neutron bet wagers frozen adjacency; the corner wagers absent FRW/neutrino sectors; the knee shape is the inserted transfer function until the joint Lindblad construction derives the pole; the odd/even test validates mediator algebra, not the vacuum interpretation. All annotated on the registry.
4. **The final status adopted verbatim on the status page masthead** (the auditor's paragraph). The honest victory, kept as stated: *the project did not survive as the theory the website previously claimed; it survived as a research program worth continuing.*

**The three decisive constructions stand as the program:** the joint matter–substrate Lindblad model (deriving the relaxation spectrum, not assuming the pole); the preregistered dressed-vacuum wave speed (c_g/c = 0.90 is the standing failure; no fitting to the answer); the canonical constraint algebra (variables, momenta, brackets, closure — the projector is not it).
