# n190 — The domestic numbers: the dark sector and the audit at human scale

**Date:** 2026-07-11 · **Question (the human's):** can the parameters produce something observable at *our* scale? **Method:** propagate the standing parameters (keV band, σ/m ≤ 3×10⁻¹², γ_e, local ρ_DM = 0.4 GeV/cm³ [standard halo value, imported]) to laboratory and body scale. What comes out is mostly *sharp nulls* — statements about the everyday world that are observable in the sense that their violation would be, plus two scale coincidences that are genuinely usable.

## The five exposures these force

(*Exposure*: a statement where the theory stands to lose but not to win — its violation kills, its confirmation earns nothing, because standard physics expects the same. The registry's [compatibility] class, given its honest name.)

1. **Planetary heat budgets close without dark matter.** Collisionless windings (σ/m ≤ 3×10⁻¹²) cannot lose energy, therefore cannot be captured: no accumulated DM core in Earth, Jupiter, or the Sun, no annihilation/friction heating. Earth's geothermal flow must be fully radiogenic + primordial; anomalous planetary heat (the old Uranus puzzle class) can never be dark. *Kill: any confirmed DM-heating signature in a planetary or stellar heat budget.*
2. **The 0.77 kg statement.** The Earth outweighs its interior dark matter by 7.8×10²⁴. Every tabletop "DM force" claim at lab scale is dead on arrival by source strength alone — gravity from ambient DM within a lab is ~10⁻²⁵ of Earth's field. This is why 28b's "null forever" is a *domestic* statement, not just an underground-lab one.
3. **No dark wind.** ~10¹² quanta/cm²/s stream through everything at 230 km/s with zero drag (audit-dark + Gauss-neutral): no anomalous damping of torsion balances, no seasonal friction modulation. Decades of precision torsion-balance nulls are retrodictive passes.
4. **Particle-like, never wavy.** Occupancy 10⁻⁷: unlike fuzzy DM (10⁻²² eV, kpc waves), the keV band predicts *no* wave interference in halos, no suppression of small-scale lensing granularity from coherence. A measured halo wave-signature kills the band from below.
5. **The attosecond coincidence (usable, not yet armed).** The audit's clock (0.18 as) and its photon (3.73 keV) sit within ~2 orders of existing attosecond X-ray technology — the *tools* of the knee experiment already exist as frequencies and photon energies; what is missing is the amplitude (n181: no absolute target armed). The knee is not hidden at Planck scale; it is parked at the edge of current attoscience. That is itself an inference from the parameters: **the theory's new physics lives at the atomic-physics corner of parameter space, not the Planck corner** — the same inversion n186 recorded, now with the lab-technology map to prove it.

## Honest limits

ρ_local is imported from standard halo modeling; all statements scale linearly with it. The nulls (1–4) are shared with any sufficiently collisionless cold DM — they are *observable-scale exposures*, distinctive only in bundle (keV mass + collisionless + particle-like + audit-dark simultaneously). Statement 5 is a technology-adjacency observation, not a prediction.
