# n185 — The cornered cosmology: what the standing commitments jointly force

**Date:** 2026-07-11 · **Method:** no new mechanism — derive the joint cosmological statement the registry's standing entries (11, 24, 27) already force, and register it as one prediction with zero flex. The sector's debts (FRW, abundance, Λ scale) are untouched and unhidden.

## The three commitments, restated

- **Prediction 11 (speculative, pre-data):** the w₀wₐ evolving-dark-energy preference dissolves; w = −1 robustly. (Currently losing ground at DESI DR2 — carried, not reinterpreted.)
- **Prediction 24 (conditional):** there was no inflaton → **r = 0 exactly**, at every sensitivity, forever.
- **Prediction 27 (conditional):** no fermion is exactly massless → **m_lightest > 0 strictly**.

## What they jointly force — the corner

Cosmological neutrino-mass inference is the collision point. Oscillation floors (computed, PDG splittings): **Σm_ν ≥ 0.059 eV (normal ordering), ≥ 0.102 eV (inverted)**. DESI DR2 quotes Σm_ν < 0.064 eV in the w = −1 restrictive model and < 0.163 eV only if dark energy evolves — and the theory *forbids itself the evolving-DE escape hatch* (11). With w = −1 held, inverted ordering is already nearly excluded by the cosmological ceiling, so the framework is forced to bet **normal ordering**. And 27 forbids the m_lightest = 0 floor-saturation, while the ceiling pins Σ from above.

**Prediction 34, the corner — all coordinates simultaneously, none negotiable:**

1. **w = −1 exactly** (the w₀wₐ preference dissolves as systematics);
2. **r = 0** — and its sharpening: **no inflationary gravitational-wave background at any frequency**: whatever the PTAs' nHz background is, it is astrophysical (SMBH binaries) or defect-born, never inflationary;
3. **normal ordering**, adjudicated independently by JUNO within ~2 years;
4. **Σm_ν in the sliver [0.059, ~0.09] eV** — strictly above the floor (27), near it (the ceiling with w = −1 held), with the current "negative preferred mass" pull dissolving alongside w₀wₐ (same systematic-bet class).

The rigidity is the content: ΛCDM can retreat along any of these axes (evolving DE, small r, IO with relaxed bounds, Σ at exactly the floor); this framework cannot retreat along *any* of them. Four live experiments squeeze the corner within ~5 years (DESI DR3/Euclid, LiteBIRD/CMB-S4, JUNO, PTA spectral characterization).

**Kills (pre-declared):** robust Σm_ν < 0.059 eV in a w = −1 cosmology; confirmed inverted ordering with the cosmological ceiling holding; any r > 0 detection; a nHz background with confirmed inflationary spectral consistency; robust w ≠ −1 (11's kill, inherited).

## Refused under F10, recorded for honesty

The arithmetic γ_e/(2Q_p) = 2.29×10⁻¹⁸ s⁻¹ = **70.7 km/s/Mpc** — dead center of the Hubble-tension band — was found and **refused registration**: the factor 2 is post-hoc, and the relation is the classic Dirac/Weinberg large-number coincidence (H₀ ~ Gm_p²m_ec²/ħ² rearranged) wearing the framework's variables. No mechanism in the theory ties H₀ to the audit parameters. It sits here as a labeled coincidence, class [F10-refused], until (if ever) the pump sector derives a coefficient. This is what the no-numerology rule is for.

## What this note does not do

No FRW dynamics, no abundance, no Λ magnitude, no production distribution — the cooling-history debt stands as priced (n151, 40 orders). The corner is a *stance assembly*, sharper than its parts because the parts cannot flex independently.
