# n168 — the third external critique: triage and actions
# (2026-07-11. The hardest and most useful reading yet. Verdicts per
# point; everything actionable applied same-day.)

ACCEPTED AND APPLIED:
1. "Newtonian attraction" was a misleading label for paper I's
constructive result - the paper itself proves a TWO-SIGNED,
   electrostatics-like sector. Paper I retitled ("A Long-Range Force
from an Information Metric"), scope sentence added, the 1D figure
caption's parity confusion fixed. The universal-attraction channel
(the monitored-mediator sector, n128-class) is now explicitly
declared out of paper I's scope.
2. Cassini: the six-digit |a| bound relabeled a CONDITIONAL inversion
   (theory uncertainty ~10% dominates).
3. Mercury: xi relabeled a CALIBRATION, with the critic's phrasing
adopted nearly verbatim; the Lambda-sign correlation stays an
   internal consistency, not an explanation.
4. Paper III reframed: a STRUCTURAL closure (polarization content and
channels); positive norm, causal propagation, amplitude-level
EH match enumerated as the remaining program, not claimed.
5. The experiment's "measurable in tens of seconds" conditioned on
O(1) coupling efficiency and form factor; the missing protocol
items listed on the page (geometry, Delta-T00, distances, form
factors, coherence budget, XFEL efficiency, noise floors).
6. Editorial desync: papers <title> fixed (three manuscripts); the
index/experiment bridge contradiction resolved (class-B closure
with named residual gap); FUTURE DATES purged (a real and
embarrassing bug: notes and footers dated 07-12/13 while the
real date was 07-11); footers frozen as "release v0.6, frozen
2026-07-11, n41-n168"; "absent: dynamics" refined to
   "cosmological dynamics, units-completion (form factors)".

CLARIFIED (not a current bug):
- "29 vs 22 predictions": both pages say twenty-nine in the current
files; the critic read a cached production build. The deeper point
(generations coexisting during rapid deploys) is accepted - hence
  the frozen release.

ACCEPTED AS STANDING PROGRAM (not same-day fixable):
- The claim matrix (claim -> class -> equation -> script ->
manuscript -> status): committed as the next editorial deliverable.
- Paper III as a long standalone derivation: the enumerated program.
- Independent expert review of paper I BEFORE widening the theory:
the standing recommendation to the human.
- The identification layer (model property != physical object) as a
  systematic table: committed.

THE CRITIC'S BOTTOM LINE, ADOPTED AS THE SITE'S OWN SENTENCE:
"An original mathematical model with several suggestive mechanisms" -
that is what is defensible today; everything bolder is a labeled
reading or a registered bet. The strongest publishable core remains
the dichotomy theorem and the information-metric construction.
