# n134 — the unification run: RESULTS. The alpha reading dies;

## The verdict (both forks, one analytic, one measured)
The winding's Gauss charge Q_w was computed under the two possible
audit domains — the fork the pre-registration left open:
- FORK A (audit covers the full complex, bridge included):
  c_w = ±2pi·(D†h)·sigma = 0 EXACTLY (h is harmonic on the full
  graph). Measured: Q_w = 0.00000 at every L and bridge length.
  THE WINDING IS GAUSS-NEUTRAL.
- FORK B (audit on the lattice only, the wormhole interior
  unaudited): Q_w = 2pi/(R_bridge + R_lattice) — geometry-dependent
  (n123 already measured the dependence: 3.14 -> 1.41 with tube
  length). Charge universality kills it: gate Y2 FAIL.
eta_o^2 = 0, not 1.1471(7).

## HEADSTONE 32 — winding-as-electric-charge
Wheeler's charge-without-charge, transplanted to this framework
(n115 §1, n120 barrel B's EM reading), is dead by its own
pre-registered gate. What survives of n120: the bare-Laplacian
Coulomb statics of mouths (correct mathematics, wrong sector). What
dies: winding = electric charge; the compact layer's quantization as
CHARGE quantization (n90's honest gap REOPENS for the electric
sector); the alpha closure through eta_o. alpha^-1 = S_inf/pi =
157.19 stands as an UNEXPLAINED number of the audited sector — the
14.7% residual has no owner again. Carved as promised: four digits
were named, the computation returned zero, the stone is cut.

## THE BIRTH — what a Gauss-neutral, audit-dark winding IS
Assemble tonight's corpse with the branch's living results:
the winding is MASSIVE (the twisted gap, n118), AUDIT-DARK
(Gamma_audit = 0 exact, n120 A), GAUSS-NEUTRAL (tonight),
INDESTRUCTIBLE (class property), SELF-INTERACTING through metric
overlap (n116's dipolar force). Massive, invisible to the
electromagnetic sector, invisible to the monitor, topologically
conserved, self-interacting: THAT IS THE DARK SECTOR — delivered,
unasked, by the failed electric unification. Prediction 10 ("dark
matter is real, parity-neutral, necessarily self-interacting") gains
its microscopic candidate: DARK MATTER = TOPOLOGICAL WINDINGS.
Charge-without-charge died; darkness-without-tuning was born.

of the branch — the selection principle, the FR embedding, the

## Scope corrections (honesty propagation)
- n115 §1 "charge quantization delivered": DEMOTED — delivered for
  the DARK charge (winding number), not the electric one.
- Predictions 25-27 (proton, Pauli, massless fermion): remain
  registered as bets; their topological support now runs through
  the matter-sector identification, which tonight weakened for the
  ELECTRIC side. Their kill conditions are unchanged.
- The electric sector's charge quantization and the 157.19 residual
  return to the audited-sector program (staggered budgets), where
  they started. The compact U(1) layer remains true physics — of
  the dark sector.
