# n122 — the Nobel gap: what the CONTENT is missing
# (2026-07-11; the human's directive: make it nobelizable. This is the
#  referee's inventory — ranked by leverage x feasibility, each item
#  stated as WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE WHEN DONE.)

## TIER 1 — the transformative numbers (any ONE changes everything)
1. THE ABSOLUTE RATE: Gamma = F(m, dE/dt, omega; alpha) in s^-1.
   The falsifiability gap, closed. Done = one formula, SI units, no
   free toy constant: the Auditometer becomes an executioner and a
   null becomes a kill. This is the units bridge (c_drag) made
   analytic. STATUS: unattempted analytically. The single highest-
   leverage page of physics this program could write.
2. ONE PARAMETER-FREE NUMBER NATURE ALREADY KNOWS. History says
   theories become un-ignorable when they compute a known constant
   uninvited (g-2, Lamb shift). Candidates here, hardest first:
   - alpha^-1 = 137.036 from S_inf + the compact U(1) layer (must
     also pay the 3.604 debt — the two close together or not at all)
   - m_p/m_e = 1836.15 as a handle-type spectral ratio (the branch
     now has a mass functional; nobody has scanned handle types)
   - the CC scale: the 10^89 suppression derived (the second-order
     bill computed through the pump's microphysics)
   STATUS: all open. The muon killed excitations (headstone 30);
   TYPES remain unscanned — the one systematic search not yet run.
3. THE LAMBDA SCALE (the 10^89): why the bill lands at (2.24 meV)^4.
   Done = the suppression mechanism derived, not parametrized.
   Solving CC quantitatively is Nobel-grade alone; we carry the
   wound openly but have never attacked it with the derivative
   layer + pump microphysics together.

## TIER 2 — the credibility spine (without these, referees stop reading)
4. THE RELATIVISTIC CONTINUUM LIMIT (the tensor junction, paid):
   done = from the lattice statics + derivative anharmonic layer,
   derive in the continuum: gamma_PPN, beta (the +0.5000 recovered
   analytically), the quadrupole formula (binary-pulsar 1.3e-4),
   Lense-Thirring (LARES-2's 1e-3), and gravitational-wave
   transparency — the four watchers, hit from one derivation.
5. THE CPS PROTECTION: why emergent Lorentz does not leak O(1)
   violations through interacting loops (Collins-Perez-Sudarsky).
   Done = a symmetry/structure of the audit that forbids the leak
   (candidate, unexplored: the monitor reads VIOLATIONS ONLY —
   dark-state protection might BE the filter; nobody has checked
   whether audit-dark sectors are CPS-immune).
6. THE COMPACT U(1) LAYER: phase variables on the complex; winding
   quantization becomes charge quantization; the coupling constant
   appears. Buildable on the existing lattice TODAY. Feeds #2.
7. THE FR EMBEDDING: prove the lattice complex supports the
   Finkelstein-Rubinstein homotopy (exchange = 2pi rotation), so
   predictions 26-27 rest on theorem, not citation.

## TIER 3 — the prestige organs (what complete theories own)
8. BLACK-HOLE THERMODYNAMICS FROM THE LEDGER: S = A/4 derived.
   The framework is ABOUT information and monitoring — if the
   audit's records obey an area law, Bekenstein-Hawking should be
   a bookkeeping theorem here. RUNNABLE IN-TOY NOW: correlation/
   record entropy across a cut vs cut area on the lattice; then
   the analytic version. An emergent-gravity theory silent on BH
   entropy loses to Jacobson/Verlinde by default — this is the
   competitive gap.
9. THE METRIC'S EQUATION OF MOTION: Einstein equations as dynamics
   (not statics + response): done = dG/dt from the audit's
   relaxation, with Bianchi consistency. The n45 self-consistent
   machinery is the seed.
10. THE CRYSTALLIZATION SPECTRUM: n_s from geometrogenesis
    fluctuations (n117's toy given a microphysics) — contact with
    Planck's 0.9649 +- 0.0042. High risk, high yield; currently
    zero attempts.

## The order of battle (feasibility-weighted)
NOW, with existing machinery: #8 (area law in-toy), #6 (compact
U(1)), #2b (handle-type mass scan). ANALYTIC CAMPAIGNS: #1 (the
bridge), #4 (the junction), #5 (CPS via dark-state filtering).
MOONSHOTS: #2a (alpha), #3 (the 10^89), #10 (n_s).
The honest sequencing: #6 -> #2b -> #8 this week in-toy; #1 and #4
are the papers that make referees stay; #2a/#3 are the lightning
strikes one does not schedule but prepares the rod for.
