# n106 — antigravity, the four faces (2026-07-10)

The perennial question, answered with the house discipline: what the
framework observes, what it contains, what it forbids, and what it
lets you build.

## Face 1 — the antigravity that exists (you are inside it)
Dark energy is, in GR language, gravitationally REPULSIVE — and in
this framework it is the pump's bill (Lambda > 0, the sign measured
via the Mercury chain). Nature's only observed antigravity is the
vacuum's subscription fee: uniform, cosmic, undirectable, and 27
orders too dilute to use (1.4e-27 W/m^3). The accelerating universe,
watched since 1998, is the audit's metabolic exhaust. Antigravity is
not science fiction here; it is cosmology, and it cannot be pointed.

## Face 2 — the antigravity the theory contains but nothing can reach
The sign of gravity rides the vacuum's inversion: THE PASSIVE BRANCH
REPELS (measured in the model, n73). Antigravity therefore has an
exact meaning: a locally de-pumped region of vacuum. The dial exists
in the equations; no coupling in the framework turns it — the pump's
supply lines are the unbuilt organ, and every observation certifies
they are untouched: stability < 1e-14/yr (LLR), C-symmetry < 1e-18
(kaons), and the road to reversal passes through DIMMING first
(n79-N4: weakened G precedes reversed G — planetary ephemerides
forbid both at every tested scale). If antigravity technology is
possible at all, it requires the pump's microphysics — the same
missing chapter that holds Lambda's value and baryogenesis. One
organ, all the miracles.

## Face 3 — the antigravities that are dead
- ANTIMATTER FALLS DOWN: measured (ALPHA-g 2023) and derived (mass is
  the smooth consumption, sublattice-blind) — prediction 20 rolling.
- NEGATIVE MASS: forbidden — consumption is non-negative (the same
  c >= 0 that gave charge <= mass); a "negative dressing" would be an
  injector, i.e. a piece of pump, not a particle.
- GRAVITY SHIELDING (Cavorite): impossible in principle — the
  monitor's back-action is not a mediated flux you can absorb; the
  audit penetrates every shield. (The same unshieldability that makes
  the Auditometer's discriminator work makes Cavorite a
  contradiction: a gravity shield would be an audit shield, and an
  audit shield would show as a decoherence-free anomaly the knee
  experiment would see.)

## Face 4 — the antigravity you can build: the tabletop analog
The sign formula Omega_eff = -g^2*Delta/(Delta^2 + kappa^2/4) is
engineerable: cavity-QED and trapped-ion platforms build exactly this
structure (two systems coupled through a lossy engineered reservoir
of tunable detuning). PREDICTION 22 (analog): flip the engineered
bath from ordinary to inverted (population-inverted reservoir) and
the mediated interaction between two trapped objects flips from
repulsive to attractive, tracking the formula quantitatively — the
framework's sign mechanism, demonstrable on a bench within current
technology. Not a test of gravity itself (an analog), but a test of
the MECHANISM the framework claims gravity uses: if engineered
inverted reservoirs do NOT produce the sign flip per the formula, the
mechanism dies in the lab before ever reaching the sky. Kill: the
analog experiment contradicting the Omega_eff formula.

## One sentence
Antigravity exists and fills the universe (the pump's exhaust — you
cannot point it); it exists in the equations as the passive branch
(you cannot reach it — the pump's lines are not yours); it is dead
where folklore put it (antimatter, negative mass, Cavorite); and it
is alive exactly once at human scale — as a trapped-ion analog where
flipping a reservoir's inversion flips attraction to repulsion,
letting a tabletop tell us whether the universe's oldest force really
is the bill of a vacuum that never stops measuring.
